I went to the drugstore earlier originally looking to try the St. Ives apricot scrub, but left with this instead- and I'm glad.
Our 100% natural scrub is formulated with finely ground Peach Stone to gently exfoliate, removing dead skin cells. Infused with Willow Bark, a natural source of salicylic acid, it removes dirt and excess oil for a deep pore clean and naturally healthy skin. The description couldn't be any more spot on. It's soooo creamy and rich on the skin, and the Peach Stone (the little exfoliating bits) aren't very intense but still get the job done. They aren't like those cheap plastic-y beads in other exfoliating products that just roll around your face and don't do anything. After I rinsed the scrub off, I was amazed at how moisturized and smooth my skin felt. Usually after using any type of exfoliating scrub my skin feels tight and dry. Burt's Bees knows how to keep my skin smooth and baby soft. Not to mention how easy it was to apply my foundation on said baby soft skin.
My face also had a wonderful, healthy glow to it. Now this may be my imagination, but my pores appeared less noticeable after using this. I know it's called a "deep pore scrub" and all, but I wasn't expecting to see a difference after one use.
Then again, it could have just been me being hopeful.
Either way, I love it I love it I love it. It also smells wonderful- just like fresh peaches. Throughout the next hour or so after using it, I would randomly get little whiffs of peach. Overall I'm just really impressed with the quality of this, as it was only $8.99 at my local drugstore.
I can't wait to use it a second time. ;)
What facial scrubs do you love?
